why graphics look like ps1 in 2022?

why are most anime games either just for "big well-known Anime/manage name" or just Hentia material?

why we can't have good anime games not "mid-core" at the best?

the graphics look like theyre from early ps games because they fit best with MiA and theres no better way to get the cartoonish but still dangerous look and feel of the abyss

because those "big well-known anime/manga" series can get views and money. If there was a one piece game you know a lot of people are gonna play it and a lot of people are gonna spend money on it which will make all that time and effort put into it worth the effort, but if its a girls last tour video game where not that many people know about it then all that money put into developing the game isnt gonna get payed back and will result in a net loss of money because they chose a more obscure anime/manga to develop into a game

there are good anime games, theres tons of them, you just need to be interested in them first if youre gonna enjoy them and it depends on the dev team as well. Any anime game being mid is a personal opinion, i know that bleach game for the ps3 looks like a boring level based hack and slash but if youre a fan of the series its really the only good bleach game out there. Because there isnt much talk about a new bleach game, even though its long overdue, some people might enjoy the boring level based hack and slash game since its all they have thats still a decent experience

but may guy the animation of charctters fell so off and rigged and no dynamic or soul on it,

this game look so badly in beta and need good artist to fix it, but they ask high price on it.

there are good anime games,

the problem there is a lot of them are fighting (because I don't like it) or RPG (because I don't have time to grind lol I have enough with my work)

honestly, I gave up on anime games.
1- 3d models but no animation or bad animation.
2- spam a butting to win in a combat fight
3- a generic normal story that you can guess what's next plot by yourself.
4- balance issue
5- Aim-assist because the game was designed for the console.

Sorry, but graphics can't be judged on a single scale from bad to good. A game can intentionally go for a certain graphics style that the devs believe best fits the game, and this is what happened here. Anime games usually go for aesthetic style that makes it look more closely to the actual anime, that's why it doesn't fulfil the needs of 'pro gamers' like you.

Maybe stop defending a game because it’s an anime ? I believe you won’t do the same if it was Tom&jerry gam.
Also when “tone shader” is so hard to do ? Most easy 3d art style.



-Outdated 3d sensce
-the texture in 3d models look like it’s made from 200*200 px picture pretty so hard to download hi-res texture with 1-4 go fiber!
-animation is dool and don’t have any soul on it.


Good thing about this game is just 2d animation but I won’t pick a game for that.

I really like the collision boxes in this one, way better than some big games out there that won't be named :P For the visuals, you have your preferences, some players mod the games they play, they go for black and gray seeing only the geometry, basically only see a black screen with some polygons floating around and stuff for highest performance, the graphic has zero impact on those people because they strip the game of all of them. I personally like the middle ground this game provides, not too pretty, not too basic.
