How to fast travel from the 4 or 5 layer to Orth ?

You need to rank up your whistle (progress the main story) more. Generally you can fast travel TO the lowest layer accessible, but only FROM the lowest -1 (or is that +1?).

I just ended up finishing the game 5 mins ago anyway so this became unnecessary lol. for the fast travel you have to go to your map in the menu and select it there. if you are a red whistle you cannot fast travel. if you are a blue you can fast travel only from the second layer. if you are a purple you can fast travel from the third layer. when you get the black whistle you can fast travel from the 4 layer. even if you get the white whistle you cannot fast travel from the fifth layer as you cannot fast travel from it no matter what.

..... I played through this whole game and never fast-traveled.... This games rating just got lower from me lol. If it was punishing on purpose it'd make more sense. Damn..... No wonder going up the wall in the 3rd layer seemed impossible! Those flying's were meant to stop you!

i hope you at least you found the short cut in layer 3 where you doesn't need to deal with the madokajack

in this game, if something feels really punishing, that's usually means you missed something

For real im black whistle rn and its good to know no matter what 5th layers unwarpable. I tried going to the bottom from the top just to prove it to myself and ended up with a 3 hour save whent I was halway through 5th layer and couldnt fast travel. I didnt realize I couldnt fast travel from 5th since I picked this game up after months of leaving it. Also had a escort mission I didnt know lol so I spent 7 hours ascending to seekers and ran out of food so I reloaded for 7 hours since I kept running out of food and weapon durability
