Does anybody know where to find the Detchuanga boss fight? It's the last achievement I need, and I searched all over every layer of the abyss and I can't find it, any help is appreciated!

You should also prepare well.
I'm level 61 with an attack stat of 170 +600 and a defense stat of 140 +845 and I don't stand a chance against him.

Do not let any distance come between you or suffer his cannonball spam. Just stick close to him and keep whacking

I have over 800 attack with the small hatchet... so you missed some stuff.

I was wondering, did anyone get the Fruitful Orb? It's listed in the relic section as something you can equip but you don't seem to get it ingame.

Took a few tries but I just beat him with a relic pickaxe, relic hatchet (high), 148+460 attack, 118+854 defense at level 50.
Lots of running away dodging bombs and trying to heal and just spamming him with the pick until it broke, then the hatchet to finish him off. If you line it up just right he'll spam his sideways swipes and let you heal, the spinning blades you just have to roll through or run out of range.

Beat him first go. Had Agile suit except for the hat (from an unmovable source) and third tier relic boots. Two wedges and a second tier relic pick was all it took. Any damage I took was insignificant and with faster healing you can reliably out-heal. Just go to town on him, GG.

That fight was pretty lame and easy tbh but you're right, I had rewatch the cutscene on youtube. Kinda lame we can't use it.
Now I am sad we only have this mysterious relic called Pwine Heart which we have no info about except the name.
edit : now that I think about it, we get no info on all the relics Detchuanga is using.
edit on edit : Detchuanga calls the eye relic "Pwine Heart" even though the game calls it Fruitful Orb... but then his corpse gets controlled by said Pwine Heart... This is so confusing (probably why I had no recollection of "Fruitful Orb").

I got to thinking the Fruitful Orb and Pwine Heart were the same relic, just mistranslated. Wasn't Pwine Heart what was keeping Tiare alive? I'm pretty sure it was also referenced as possessing people or forcing them to follow their desires or something. Which also explains Detchuanga's disposition before the fight with him since he was also using it, or rather it was using his corpse at that point.

Seems to be the same relic, yeah.
But then my question remains : Why do we not get that kind of info in the notebook...?

It’s strange, I, with the same attack stat, with a level 3 Relic Pickaxe, and only 150 more armor, did not receive any damage at all and killed the boss in 5 power attacks.

i managed to trap detchuanga without doing anymore grinding on the game, so idk i think im not even high enough level to max out white whistle stats. i bought like 15 basic starter guns and 90 stun bullets and it took all both of them while i positioned myself to a specific distance behind him where he'd keep spamming the same aoe sword spinny move while i kept shooting him 3 times and crouching to dodge him. i eventually killed him in 20 mins with no dmg and without walking around anywhere else in the field
