I'm pretty sure meat has no effect. I even managed to hit a Madokajack with my meat.
Welcome to my thread, Mr/Ms savior.
Your mod works fine with Proton/SteamDeck as well.
I do believe that they have a proper collision detection. Because I managed to hit a Madokajack with a piece of meat while it's flying, and the meat bounced off. So it should be able to land on a platform in theory.
And this game's body collision is as simply as you can imagine. Literally everything is a big cube, zero ragdoll physics. A few pixels of the edge of 2 cubes make contact with each other and you get a collision.
https://youtu.be/OysR514h69E here's a video of it.
WOW, this is exactly what I tried to do and failed. Thank you!
BTW, Madokajack is really something special, I've never seen (maybe never noticed) any other creatures drop 2 items in a time.
Oh, that's right, the incorrectly described skill. I only picked the herb gathering one.
I've got relics from big creatures too, that's very very rare.
Splitmouth will drop relics. That's where I got my liquid whatever for an item early. But yeah it does kind of stink that combat is mostly worthless outside of cull quests.
Speaking of early items, you can actually delve into the 3rd layer's Hexagon Pillars region as a red whistle, there you can find grade 2 relics including that liquid stuff.
All you need is that mod of salvation to disable the infinite spawning, and some ropes of course.
