I try and launch the game and get an error message that it has encountered an error and must close. Anyone else?

I've read some of the reviews and I'm confused how a pixel art game without high-end music would need an i7 processor or even an i3. I'm trying to decide whether to buy the game and really don't want to spend money on something that eats a lot of memory and runs slow on my low-end computer....

I just played my first run on the game and I must say that I'm impressed by the dialogues and how the characters reacted to my decisions and the overall story, and the intro part is just fabulous, had an incredible time playing it.
