Listen server

Hi, can anyone please tell me how can i make a proper listen server for ut 2004, my friends arent able to join me when they enter my ip address. Thanks for your help!

Have you set up your router correctly to forward the traffic to your pc/server?

Best thing to do is start a dedicated server, search your own server in the serverbrowser (not the lan tab) and join it. If it blocks you from joining, it is not been set up correctly.

Yes I have opened the ports, firewall is off. It worked fine first time, but on the next day both of my friends cant join. Are there some kind of strict settings I have to use or somekind console commands?

No fancy commands, it should work.

Can you join your own server if you start a dedicated server instead of a listen server and access it from the server browser, not the lan tab, list?

You might want to tick on 'webadmin' and type your ip address + port 80 in your browser. For example: 1.2.3.4:80
If it opens the webadmin your router has been set up correctly and you gameserver should be accessable as well.

Are the ports set to the correct IP? If your computer does not have a static IP the sorts might not work after a restart.
