ive got a problem... (no cd key)
I purchased UT2004 on steam, and it used to work, but I just built a new computer and went to play UT2004 for the first time on this machine and i get "your cd key appears to be invalid"

This seems to be a common problem, but the common fixes i've found dont work. One common thing says to delete the cd key in regedit. When i go into the ut2k4 files in regedit, there are several entries, but not one for a cd key. I figured maybe i'll add one, i'll just find out how to get my cd key from steam and manually enter it, but there is no way to find this information for this game.

I have reinstalled and verified the game cache, also ive tried running steam in administrator mode. so far nothing works.

I got it to work finally. Had to install it on my c drive... idk why. If I install it on any other hard drive, it gives me errors. Def annoying, but at least I can play it.
