Unreal Tournament 2004

Unreal Tournament 2004

Other UT-like games?
Are there other UT-like games? By "like", I mean having dodge, secondary fire modes and other UT features.

The only one I know is Toxikk, which I already have; there is another called "Open Tournament", but has not been completed yet.

In a addition, I also have other games such as Reflex Arena, Warfork(free on Steam), Red Eclipse(free on Steam), Cube2: Saubraten (free, not on Steam), Xonotic(free , not on Steam) , Neptune: Arena FPS, Wickland, and Star Trek Elite Force (on GOG), but I do not identify them as "UT-like". I'd say they are Arena FPS.

Toxikk, but it flopped unfortunately. Not the game or developer's fault really, it just didn't garner any interest outside of a small niche of arena FPS fans.

Sad fact that we have to accept.

Probably OP has mentioned all UT-like games. The rest are something else or Quake clones.

I just remind of a game: "Nerf Arena Blast". It has dodge and secondary fire mode, but it's not available in Steam and GOG. It can be found as an abondonware.

Sorry bro. You picked the wrong time to be fan of arena shooters. The genre is long gone and forgotten. The closest thing to it is Overwatch. Yes, it's not exactly the same, but everything else is long dead, you said it yourself with Toxikk.

Xonotic is a lot of fun and similar as long as you don't want an Assault mode. It's free so never going to get yanked on you either.

Quake Live, no chance. Sorry, those golden days are over.

there's also Tournament Unreal if you want.

I already have all Quake games in my Steam library and Xonotic / Rexuiz, but I don't identify them as "UT- like".
" Tournament Unreal "? Can't find it on Google, Google only showed me "Unreal Tournament " in the results. Got URLs?

There's also Real UnTournament, an open-source clone of UT that takes place in real life and involves moving to the cheapest possible Chicago neighborhood while armed with a weapon of your choice.

On a more serious note though, I am sad to say there aren't really any games that fill the void like UT. Closest I can think of to a "new" UT experience is playing the singleplayer with the randomizer mod.

Which was crazy because I thought it would take off.

In Jan of 2015 I bought the "DOUBLE KILL PACKAGE" to support this game during startup.

"Frag like it's 1999", what a wonderful slogan. The forums were overwhelmed with enthusiast players.

Sadly the game didn't make it.
