2003 fonts problem

So, I have a legit DVD physical copy, but there's a problem: It has a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ forced-in czech translation that doesn't allow me to visit certain servers because of the ugly fonts it has.

I tried the Language=int, but it was already set there, didn't change anything.

Is there something to patch the english back in?

You need to patch your game to the current version, v3369.

Installed, still got the 2003 fonts mismatch error.

I'm only trying to play on ONE server, which was my long time fav. As I can't get on their official webpage to look up the version of the server, here's the name of the server: [LDG] Ballistic Weapons V2.5 Pro #2: Invasion [FR].

Are you able to connect to other servers? It might be a problem on their end, if that is the only one you can't connect to, and you have patched to the latest version.

Did you perform a clean install of the game? As well tried to empty all files from UT2004/cache folder?

I'm not into the ballistic things, but I know the servers are pretty well visited. Their version is 3369 for sure.

I tired connecting to Black Mesa invasion server and it worked, however...I need to know how to connect to that ONE server, it has the sweetest invasion RPG I know.

As I have it from Anthology(I hope it doesn't change much), I had it clean and tried connecting to that server with clean version, after that I was just trying to find a patch for my problem. And now I'm here.

Package ''UT2003fonts'' version mismatch.

Go to the directory where you have installed UT2004.
Press CTRL + F so a searchfield opens. Search for 'UT2003fonts' and delete any file.

Will the server download the missing files?(Or I will have to get it myself?)

Edit: I found-UT2003fonts.utx, UT2003fonts_smt.utx, UT2003fonts_tmt.utx and UT2003fonts_kot.utx

Took all of them into a backup file somewhere else, now it connects.

New issue arises: I forgot the password for my old username(didn't use it for more than one and a half of a year...) and all usernames I keep pulling outta my arse are allegedly already used on the server, only to be kicked(I think, once I even lost connection) a second later.

What a life...

When you have files from a different version of a mod installed, the game will not download those files from servers. That is why you got that error with 2003 fonts.
