No 16:9 screen resolutions?

Okay, this is weird, but this game doesn't seem to let me set the screen resolution to my monitor's native 1920*1080 or anything else that would scale to it without either distorting, or black bars (as is the case, given how I've configured my Nvidia control panel).

The original Unreal Tournament (a long-time favourite of mine) can use it just fine, so why can't this one?

More to the point, is there some kind of workaround I can do so I don't have to play with black bars?

press @ and type "Setres 1920x1080"
without the quote marks

[WinDrv.WindowsClient] --> FullscreenViewportX=1920
FullscreenViewportY=1080

in user.ini can change another setting!! sorry for my englis! :P

Now you have changed the resolution from 4:3 to 16:9, you might also want to adjust the fov which is still on a 4:3 setting.

Open the console and and type fov 106.26.
