UT2004 on MacOS Catalina?

Rediscovered this game again after 15 years time and it runs very well on my Linux setup!
My son also wants to play it and has an imac running Catalina, will ut2004 run on Catalina? I do not get the "32 bit game" warning as I do for some other games in the store, but when I google it, it seems it might not work on Catalina.

The Steam version only works on Windows.
The Mac version is 32-bit only so it will not run on Catalina.
