backpack- probably missing something obvious.

So i'm really enjoying this game, and have several hours invested in both thief sim and american theft. I was wondering if there's a way to upgrade our backpacks? I know there's the "skill" for more inventory space. but the backpack equipped is called "simple" so it got me thinking.
