PC vs Console

I have this game on the Console and Its pretty bad, and I really didn't like it... Is the PC version better? Is any more content than the console version? is it even worth getting?

easier to find mods and maps since you download them by connecting to the server, but even less players left it seems than my ps3 copy. Also with the larger amount of available mods... sturgeons law comes into effect. Only about 15% of the maps you will encounter will be good. Most seem to be "Hey I remade my room or house, at 500 times the size! and I did not bother to properly light the map!"

So there are no additional modes to the PC version? Just restricted to CTF, War, and Death Match? No Double Domination, Bombing Run, Last Man Standing, Assault? I can careless about modded maps, I just want additional game types... I love the game, I just hate how there are only 5 different game type with little to no variation, I want what made Unreal Tournament, Unreal Tournament... That the generic stuff that you see in all the other first person shooters

Microsoft refuses to let unauthorized content on their systems. Mods and new maps apparently count. Out of Epic's hands. Complain to MS if you want

a fun game mode that is done like a sport. A player has the ball, can shoot it into the goal or to other players (or enemies) When you do not have the ball you have access to weapons and can kill enemey players or enemy ball carrier. First to 3 goals wins! Neat trick as ball carrier is to purposely toss the ball to a guy about to kill you his weapons are disabled as you kill him to then re pick up the ball

"A best of" collection of UT3 mods and maps. Nothing too groundbreaking gameplay wise except for one new gametype, but the quality of the maps in there is incredible

His homepage seems to be gone but the download links here should work. You the players fight against an endless wave of monsters that get progressively harder and over the top. Works on all maps unlike the game modes available in the first two.

a 650-700$ computer is good enough to run all games and better then any console.

a 700$ computer can not only handle games, but also many other things like office, surfing or even watching TV. It's definitively worth the money. A console on the other hand can only be used to play games. I would rather get a gaming computer for 700$ that can be used for the next 6 or 8 years than a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ gaming console.

Who do you think gave me my 700$ for my computer? I worked and earned that money and then bought my computer.

Since you are posting here I assume that you own a computer, how much did you spend on that computer? 400$? 500$? Couldn't you just put the money you used to buy your console on that and buy a real computer? You don't have to buy a 1000+ computer, 650 or even 600 is enough for a good computer that can run all the new games on full hd and with more then 30 fps.

The other good thing about a computer is that games are cheaper. A console is only cheater at the beginning, but later you will have to buy expensive games.

I bought this computer off of a friend for less than $150(which is a 2007). I don't have the money to put into a $700 computer, unless your going to give it to me, I have other things to take care of. So why don't you take your ignorance, and shove it up your ass
