what's the difference form UT3

Like title sais what r the difference form normal reatail version UT3? any infom will be appreciated

The only difference between a retail version and the "Black Edition" is that the Titan Pack and Community pack are is directly included in the download*********. (Wich you can all download separatly for the retail version as they are free updates).
The best part is that back in 2009 , people that owned UT3 retail were able to register their version on STEAM for free. I have no idea if it is still possible to do so, but i don't see why not.

********* : Disregard what i wrote about the community pack, i meant that it's compatible with the steam version. You still have to download and instal it separatly no matter what version of UT3 you own.

I think you can redeem your retail key on steam and get black, but I'm not sure.

Can confirm you can register retail copy with steam just did mine

before steam changed the forums there was a thread saying that if u bought a retail copy, you just activate your key on steam and it grants you the black edition.

It is possible I just did it because my disc wasn't working properly (3rd of April 2016)

from what I can tell, it's actually worse than the original.there's far less characters to play as and theres less maps as well.
