Why all the same bot? *SOLVED*

Hey Everyone,

I have been going for achievements in UT3, and haven't played since 'before' the gamespy shutdown, but since I only play sp, I didn't assume it would alter my game at all- but my game's different now, but I fail to see the connection to login i.d. and bots looking all the same all the sudden.. I did have a login i.d. (but never used it), I've not remade a login- I don't use it so why bother? I have about 300hrs. in UT3, all sp. (My Steam shows me nearing 300 but that only shows signed in time, so it's a bit short). Since I've been playing again, all my bots look the same, other than my character, which looks as it did before. Basically, they all look like Collosus. Nocturne isn't different in appearance or voice, Desiree looks like Collosus (guess she had a sex change while I was away lol, and Jester, and all females). No Necris or Robots... all like Collosus. Can someone tell me a fix please? I have verified my cache on Steam, no change.

Sounds like you turned on force character model on options. Kind of like Quake where all enemies are the green robot to make it easier to see opponents.

I don't recall, but I'll go look and make sure, thanks. Hope that's all it is. :) It's not UT3 w/out Necris/etc.

Somehow, I deselected 'allow custom characters', I enabled it and boom, I have Necris, females, robots, -it's UT3 again, many thanks kind sir/madam (whichever applies :) ). *Gold star for you *
