How do I change in game password?

I can't remember my password and I want to change it. However When in game the message which pops up talks about gamespy, not Epic. I created my game account a week ago so not sure why it's giving such an outdated error...

While gamespy is gone, it was just about impossible to remove all references to it in the game so while you are no longer actually connecting to gamespy, it will say that you are. You can reset your password by following the instructions found here:

I'm simply terrible at networking and ever since gamespy went down, i havent been able to host a coop game for me and my couzin. tried all kindso of solutions. Not even hamatchi worked. Idno, we kind of gave up a while back, I just happened to run by your question.

There's a post below this one called "How to Host and have a Friend join your Game" which I'm going to try. Some of the commentators said it worked for them. It's for online games I think. I'm gonna try it tonight or tomorrow, I just need to find my wireless router details again. I've never hosted a game before but I think that looks promising. Gamespy wise I actually created a new account in game so that it uses the Epic servers. I haven't had any issues joining games online.
