How to patch? Followed guide with no result
So I have downloaded the http://utuniverse.com/fix/UT3_3810_GSMS_Patch.zip one and replaced it with the .exe . However I did not encounter the create new id thing.. everything is as usual and there are only bots on servers. And I can't host a co-op game. I have tried http://www.fpshosting.net/games/UT3-gs-patch.zip as well. It says '' There is a separate patch for servers.'' But both of them links (server patch & client patch) are .exe files .. there are only one .exe file in game folder. so how am i suppose to replace 2 .exe's when gamefolder only has one.

You just add the UT3.EXE and then you must create a new account so you can logon to the game as your old Gamespy account is gone, When you start the game, my guess is you are running the game without logging on as your old logon info doesn't work.

what .exe ? server or client patch? . were do I create new account? There are only bots on servers

All you need to add is the client EXE. As far as I know. I think your problem is you have not created a new account yet.

so not the server patch ? It says on here : http://epicgames.com/community/2014/05/ut3-patch-allows-you-to-play-after-gamespy-shutdown/ that i need both? :Owl:

what's a dedicated server? no a normal server , when I connect to online servers there are only bots, and I can't invite my friend to campaign co-op

I am not 100% sure but I think all you need is the client EXE. I think the server patch is for a dedicated server which you are not doing. Did you create your new account? Does your friend have the new EXE and did he re-register?

yes he has new .exe too. No we have not re-registered. I will try that now but it has not told us to do so.

Seriously, this guy is a troll. No one who plays gaming on PC doesn't know what a dedicated server is.
