I also think that you can't change diffiuclty between the campaign which anyway explains why so few people have the insane achievements.
If you are finding it too hard co op is your best bet.
With AI it might take while and u need lots of luck in some certain matches especially VCTF and WAR ones where you are outnumbered.
Playing those WAR games 4 vs 8, with 3 stupid bots on your side (even on Insane, your team is constantly failing at doing the right moves, no matter what you ask them) is going to be a major pain in the d*ck.
Even with 3 co op friends, and god knows how hard it can be to find 3 co op friends those days, it might not be enough to compensate the non-sense behaviour of your IA partners.
