Can't unlock Insane achievements

Hey guys,


I've been playing some UT 3 campaign recently, and when I reach the final mission of a chapter, I go back to the main menu and then go back on Campaign => Continue, then switch difficulty to Insane (was doing a playthrough in Casual to speed things up according to some guides).
But no matter what I do, it doesn't unlock. Tried to start a campaign from start instead of chapter select, nothing more...

So, do I need to do a full Insane playthrough?

Also, I didn't try using cheat codes, do you think it might work and trigger the achievement if I remove all those stupid AI bots or give myself godmode? Starting to get seriously bored of playing this campaign... I'm looking for a way to speed this mindless grinding a bit ^^

Since no one replied so far I will try 'Godmode' and let you know. I was playing on Insane but left it in middle.

Okay achievements don't work with 'Godmode' enabled.
I also think that you can't change diffiuclty between the campaign which anyway explains why so few people have the insane achievements.
If you are finding it too hard co op is your best bet.
With AI it might take while and u need lots of luck in some certain matches especially VCTF and WAR ones where you are outnumbered.

Crap... thanks.

Playing those WAR games 4 vs 8, with 3 stupid bots on your side (even on Insane, your team is constantly failing at doing the right moves, no matter what you ask them) is going to be a major pain in the d*ck.
Even with 3 co op friends, and god knows how hard it can be to find 3 co op friends those days, it might not be enough to compensate the non-sense behaviour of your IA partners.

If you feel like going through this campaign in co op, since I have already another guy in it, it might be fun, feel free to go for Friend Request. And anyone reading this might join the party too ^^

Hopefully I am not too late with my reply, but I completed the Insane achievements by playing on a lower difficulty (Casual) and then switching to Insane for the last match of the chapter. It is possible to switch difficulty.

It has been awhile since I played the campaign but I'm pretty sure you'll have to do the entire thing on insane. Also co op is the best way to do it good luck!

^ No you don't need to do the whole thing on Insane, just the last match of each chapter. I didn't do that, and there is an achievement guide that says the same thing.

I got the Insane achivements while switching to insane only for the last level of a chapter. Played co-op with a friend. There where no patches for the game since when I achieved them. So, it should work.
