Epic Games Cancelled Unreal Tournament 3X...Master Servers still broken!

If you go to the Steam Store page you can see they have reverted everything back to the Unreal Tournament 2.1 version no mention of Unreal Tournament 3X...

What's bad is they didn't bother to fix the master servers so the game is still broken, I just did a fresh install and now cant get logged in to play the game

As you can see from the store page...

Shame they decided to not go ahead and update the game and instead pulled the plug on the servers and worse left it to truly die...new players can't even buy the game anymore

Not surprised it was cancelled. But breaking it, and then just delisting it instead of fixing it is a pretty ♥♥♥♥ move. But not surprising coming from modern Epic. Any other publisher probably would have put out something like an Unreal Tournament Master Collection similar to what Halo has. With cross game matchmaking. But Epic just delists everything for no reason like they are mad anything ever sold before Fortnite existed lol.

Kind of odd behavior to turn your back on your original namesake franchise. It would take very little effort to update Unreal Tournament to UE5. I'm guessing Sweeney is more concerned with wetlands and lets Tencent run the show.

its just stored on steams servers. you should still be able to download it. you just can't buy it anymore

Guess they couldn't muster up enough grunts from their skin-making factory to bother with this. It's sad watching Epic disregard their history just because they found out that zoomers would pay an exorbitant amount of money to witness Goku shooting Superman. Fortnite ruined them forever

They pretty much killed the very IP that put them on the map. I say let them rot.

what a mess. anyways on my main i have this game Can i still play with bots/ offline account and not log in? all i remember as i had to verify my CD key before launching and it worked fine. anything change?
