Stuck on first loading

Hi there

I just installed UT3 on my new computer and can't play anything because I'm always stuck on the first loading screen. Can anyone help me plz?

Try verifying game integrity.
Also maybe you could provide a screenshot if it doesnt help?

Oh okay I see you are stuck in the menu.
Did you try to register or login with a ID? You need to download a patch for that.
If it still doesnt help you can email epic games. They will reply soon.

Its called UT3 Gamespy patch. You can find it in the epic games forums. After you install the patch properly your issue will be resolved hoepfully.

Tried and didn't work. and I can play the campaign just fine also the multiplayer too but not the instant action...

I can't say I've ever seen someone have multiplayer and campaign working but not instant action so that seems kind of strange.

There's no point in installing any kind of patches if you installed the game via Steam.

Okay, sorry :(. I'd have things to tell you if you were also stuck loading the same (or all) maps during the campaign or multiplayer but just instant action is a bit of a weird one. I'd have to look at your game install if I can help you at all.

I just found the problem and fixe it(kinda), so without any fix I can play campaign and online multiplayer. And now I deleted my logIn account in confs and started to play without making on (which created player by default). Which now allows me to play instant action and campaign(online multiplayer doesnt but since it's kidna abadon I dont mind).

Ok I finally got this full running, got my old accoutn back and now can play everything. And the problem with the new account I created my be because I used : and space on the name.

Yeah I tried again with spaces and it worked, the : is the one whose got me stuck.
