Problems

First of all, I originally played this on console. Loved it. Eventually downloaded Titan Pack and a bunch of community packs on PlayStation 3. Loved'em.
It's been years now since I've been able to play this game since I didn't have a PS3 anymore. I kept wanting it on PC but it never said it had controller support. Finally about two weeks ago I Googled it and people said it did. Now I have it.

Two problems I have having thus far:

1. Controls and settings never save when I start the game up again. Every time I play, I need to lower the volume, bind my controls, and change my preferances. This is a major annoyance. How can I fix this? I haven't signed in because I just play offline Instant Action nowadays, maybe campaign another time. A fix for this would be highly appreciated.

2. I've invested over 250 hours into this game on PS3 without any new map packs or content so I know all the base maps by heart, so believe me when I tell you that this Black Edition adding the Titan Pack did not add any new maps. I never invested much time into the new Titan maps or community ones when I downloaded them on PS3, but I've played hundreds of hours on the base maps. So where have these maps gone? To confirm, I checked Vehicle CTF and there were very few, just like the base game, and I remember them all very well. Can anybody help me out?

Also, a note. While searching for the second problem, I've stumbled upon results in Google stating that campaign progress does not save, people asking why custom maps don't work, and how you get custom maps. I'd like these three questions answered too if you have the time, please and thank you.

Unreal Tournament III is a very fun and enjoyable game. It always has been, and always will be. I just want some of these issues fixed. Thanks in advance!

But yes, as Bubba said, this problem doesn't exist when you login in online mode.

2. The Steam version of UT3 already has the Titan Pack so don't try to install the Titan Pack for the retail version of the game.

If the maps are missing then it's possible you need to verify game cache/reinstall. Since the maps show up in the menus via ini files you might need to delete the Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\UTGame\Config folder as well.

3.1. Fixing campaign progress is the same thing as point #1

3.2. Custom maps are usually installed in Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\UTGame\Published\CookedPC\CustomMaps. You can put *.ut3, *.upk, *.ini and *.u files directly in here. A lot people package maps in different ways so I'd check if there's a readme file in the package. The readme file may explain how to install the maps.

I deleted that folder and still nothing. Name some of the maps and categories. Maybe I'm just careless and miss them. I just strongly remember each of the maps I have and I haven't invested a lot of time into Titan maps.
