UT3 or 2004?

I got 2004, is it worth to buy 3 black? In 2004 I can find a lot of people. How does it look in 3 black?

UT3 is much more updated with better graphics and a ton of mods but few online. Bots are great though.

People are starting to mod UT3 now. They have boosts and things in warfare. In the one I just played "Legend of UT3" was one shoting the leviathan with a sniper rifle so I'm not sure yet. Runs pretty smooth on my old 4870 Radeon at 60fps, max settings. Crossfire came on playing the game which is more than I can say for most I play.

Best bet is to save your money and play the new, free UT4. But if I had to pick between UT3 and UT 2004 I'd go with UT 2004 simply because UT 2004 probably has more players and it's (populated) Onslaught game was always better than UT3's Warfare.

UT3 campaign on the hardest difficulty can be a lot of fun to play with a friend, I had a good time :)

Its been a long time since I played but as far as I remember, you can solo the campaign, invite friends and/or leave the "lobby" open for anyone searching for campaign games, if they join it becomes coop.

after playing UT 3:Black UT 2004 and UT 2014 i have concluded that UT 3:Black has the largest player base

UT3 - weapon balance + warfare + vehicle ctf + graphics.

UT2004 might have more players but as much as I loved it back in the day, it has not aged well gameplay-wise or graphics.

What is exactly "more players"? Because as far as I could check, in UT3 players count (in online games) is most of time 0. I don't if there are people playing UT2004 or not, but talking about UT3, I can say that just one DM game appears sometimes, not more.
