In terms of the UI, most experienced UT3 players used Mapmixer which was amazing.
I will say that online players are more often bots than real players. Playing against bots is fun.
as the new UT is not really much further than 3 maps, 5 WIP maps, bout 20 mincraft arenas and test mappings.... repeat reapeat repeat... and blitzmode is tota ♥♥♥♥^^
...
ive hoped to find some nivce UT time again now where doom mp is also nearly dead
the hell r u crazy? o.O ... go play the new UE4 UT, its pre-alpha but free, movement feels great again =)
UT3 felt somehow clumsy and those barockesque designs where a total fail... do not buy for more than 5€ id say... anyways go for a boxed disc version if u need to buy it, then for the collection^^^
lol
They need unlimited internet acess, my procesor barely can keep up this game to 60 fps
Game is to much in china style, menu looks avfull, registrations, serials keys, gameplay. i dont like it. not worth to spend money for this game.
Official Epic UT3 Warfare #2 is the second-most active server (mostly on weekends). It averages around 10 players. US Server; Warfare mode only.
If, at any point, you want to know how many players are on any of the servers, go to this link:
https://www.gametracker.com/search/ut3/
It tells you how many, which players exactly, and what map is currently playing in real-time.
UT 2003 was a huge failure relative to UT99 and a great many UT99 players were very disappointed with UT 2003 if not angry. I remember one clanner who posted a photo of his UT 2003 game box being set on fire.
UT 2004 was a good game for Onslaught and Invasion-RPG, but it failed for non-PvE on-foot games such as CTF and Bombing Run. UT 2004 only had a fraction of the online player counts UT99 had as well as a fraction of the competitive activity such as organized leagues and CTF PUG matches. In contrast, you could find UT99 CTF PUG matches and even an organized CTF draft league up until a few years ago. When I bought UT 2004 in early 2006, the CTF servers - the flagship game of UT99 - were empty as were the Bombing Run servers. My theory is that the floaty-dodgey movement put too much of an emphasis on hitscan, so the on-foot PvP games just weren't much fun for most players in UT 2004.
