Go on steamdb and check
so it sucks seeing most indie games being full priced still
those 2 got like 500% price increase
before this update this game was $20
after this update this game should be cheaper
to give you context
for the 14 years iv been using steam my store is exactly same price as America in USD
after yesterday it became a bit cheaper
elden ring $60 now is $40
and im expecting to see more indie devs to try to adjust cuz their game being priced more than other major titles makes less sense to me now :\
Is it that it didn't get more expensive, but it just didn't get any cheaper when big-ticket games did? If so, then perhaps the issue could be that bigger developers with more capital can afford to take the hit of a price reduction in certain regions but not all indie devs can?
$20 is a lot of money in my currency
steam uses USD for me , forcing me for it cuz it wont add my currency
again $20 USD is a lot in my currency
so a lot of indie games , brok the investigator , hades , alien homonid invasion , dredge, beacon pines, potion permit (list goes on forever)
have their games also priced properly for my region
this game however doesn't, its just specifically this game that does not.
nothing in my heart but love and respect for the dev for making this game, just wish they use the steam recommended regional pricing than forcing the american pricing on me,
is all good tho I can come back 1-2 years from now , am in no rush of playing this.
Your profile says you are in the Cook Islands, which frustratingly isn't listed under any region in the Steam back-end. I assume it's grouped under "South Asia", in which case the game should already be listed as $8.19 for you.
I can't see anything to change, but I've resubmitted the values in case that does something.
Apologize about the confusion with the country in my steam profile as its a fake thing I put cuz it sounded funny.
I am located in (youalreadyknow editing this part out) (middle east Asia) and the currency thats used for us by steam I believe they refer to it as MENA USD
again apologize for the confusion, i usually dont share location info as i deal with a lot of racism towards it and i like to keep it more private, i shouldv stated it in the post itself.
bought the game :D
