Anyone figure out how to get the different endings??

Just finished! Got the Survivor ending, so curious how to get the other ones.

Just finished as well, and it says I got both Survivor and Salvation endings. I found all 9 notes and 18 out of 17 (???) echoes, so maybe that's one trigger!

I also got the Umbrella ending, but that one is pretty easy, you just turn off both levers when Helen tells you to sit on the chair at the final scene. Just make sure to save before you do them, so you can get that one and the regular ending on the same run.

I suppose there might be another ending on New Game+, the Restless Dreams mode. I only have three achievements left to get, so maybe they're all related to that!

I need the Salvation ending! I got 17/17 Echoes, so that extra one must be it.... I'm also missing the Sonic Shotgun and Rom Doctor trophies, plus three hidden ones (Foreshadow ending, Erudite, Salvation ending)

You're missing the same as me :( Maybe like 3 people have got Foreshadow, Erudite and Rom Doctor, and they're probably not here.

As for Salvation, it's probably the 18th echo you're missing. I'm sorry I can't tell you where to find it, tho

As for the Sonic Shotgun, you can find it outside the fence on Area C after triggering the cutscene on the tent near the lake, where they talk about a new weapon. The shotgun is on the ground on plain sight, but kinda on the end of the map. Easy to miss, but also easy to get once you know it's there!

Also, I'm pretty sure the Rom Doctor is that monitor on Echo Garden where Chris says "Staring into the display makes me feel weak", I just can't figure out how to trigger it!

Ok I think I figured this out... So I think you can shoot the ghosts with the shotgun, and that reflects on the terminal. I shot one ghost and saw only 2 dots on the terminal.

I know where 2 of the ghosts are.... but the third one??? There's one in Hearth by Granny, and one in Site C in the corner (altho i've only seen him once, but sure how to get him to respawn..)

So where's the third one?

I know where the third one is! By the road on the front of Last Stop Cafe. I remember stumbling upon him, getting hit and nothing happening, and going "huh". Also I wish there was a way to recharge the shotgun, I shot it too much just for fun and now have an empty weapon and a full battery just sitting there.

I hope you're right! I could reload a previous save and get it then :D Leaving only the foreshadow ending left. There's an Echo in Hearth about someone named Chris leaving someplace by car, I wonder if that's related.

Ok I just ran it again after getting rom doctor and.... somehow got the foreshadow ending???? it happened after the credits, and the only thing I did differently this time was crash my car before entering the facility and hitchhike in the end cut scene.

Dang, the only thing I'm missing is erudite. I'm out of achievements besides that so what is the missing secret? Is there anything tied to restless dreams?

Restless Dreams is just an aesthetic thing at the moment, it doesn't change the gameplay. Find all the notes and echoes in a run and you should unlock erudite 🙌

Dear developers, please explain the differences between Salvation, Foreshadow and Survivor in relation to the final cut scene.
If I understand correctly, the Survivor ending is given anyway. If you crashed the car, then the Salvation ending is also given to the Survivor ending. Am I getting it right? As for the ending of Foreshadow, are there no changes in the cut scene at all? If in the other two we are either leaving by our car or by hitchhiking, there are only such minor differences.

Hey, Foreshadow adds a small additional scene before the credits roll.

Salvation/survivor are small variations based on Chris's situation at the end (car).

So at the end-game statistics screen if it shows you found all the echoes and letters that should unlock the achievement? If so, the achievement's bugged. According to those statistics I found everything.

So I've played through three times now, twice on regular and once on restless dreams and the ending stats screen says 9/9 notes and 18/17 echoes all three times, still no erudite. You don't have to tell me how many or which I am missing, but I assume that is not really all of the things?

Seems the erudite achievement might be bugged then. I'll look at getting that fixed in the next patch. Thanks for your help checking!
