You'll actually make a game, and it will actually be shipped on time, and it will launch well, and you'll make some bank if you actually keep with that mindset.
So many "companies" or "startups" or what-have-you will rush off to get a slice of that kickstarter backing money when their prototype is still years away from being remotely close to the product they promise.
Kickstarter brings out the worst in people, I swear. So many developers promise more and more and more because it generates hype during the "event".....then it always ends up crashing back down after the kickstarter reaches it's goal 6-7 times over when the developer or producer or w/e realizes they don't have that kind of know-how or skill or just doesn't care to follow through.
I'm sorry, I might be still completely and utterly livid with Iga and his spending sprees of tens of thousands of dollars to fly all over the world to sleep with supermodels in gothic castles using backer money (not even kidding) then cutting out 3/4ths of the promised features.
