Sylph Appreciation Thread
I tried to play the new minotaur campaign to test out how the new guy plays. Unfortunately I had to stop after map four, as it became apparent that camp buildings are not getting upgraded properly (or, at all.) I was also a little bummed that flying units still act as portable walls that are invulnerable against ground based melee.

So, there are still obviously a lot to do.

However, I wanted to also give credit where credit is due. That means: SYLPHS!

Their unit design is absolutely brilliant, like, 11/10 brilliant. Exactly the kind of quirky shenanigans that are often missing in games like this.

Having your two attacks behind a cooldown period is a meaningful choice when to use those attacks, and the mind control ability to disrupt enemy formation is so useful I often cry myself to sleep thinking of it. Happy tears, mind you.

Okay, I guess I exaggerated there a little, but that dynamic is especially good when you take into account that melee attack doesn't deal damage or - as far as I can see - any other kind of detriment to the enemy. But still Sylph can make the attack nonetheless. Whoever thought of that, I salute you. It ties so well together with supporting fire abilities of ranged units. Even if your abilities are on cooldown, you can still at least do something if you position other troops properly.

Synergies like these and utilizing them is rewarding, and to some extent (for me at least) what these games are about.

One a side note, one idea that came into my mind with Fire Shamans and Sylphs is that it would create even more choices for the player to increase turn cooldowns of their abilities by one, but have those tick down with melee attacks as well. Thus, you'd be incentivised to weigh in the cost of putting those semi-heroes in harms way against having access to powerful abilities sooner.

Hi Pseudok! Thank you very much for sharing your appreciation! This means a lot to us.
We are aware that we have to deal with a few bug or lets say improvements. We are full focused solving them.

But this building bug is strange as we can not reproduce it. Would be great if you could sent us your save file to info@mosaicmask-studio.com

I sent the save anyway, although I discovered a sure-fire way to check the problem. Clicking "upgrade building", then saving game and loading the game again reproduces the issue without having to play through an entire map. This happens on many Karnoth buildings, at least Hunter's Hut, Beast Lodge and Bone Yard. Aglovann has better building contractors, but even his stables do this.

edit: Actually it is not that consistent. I tested Aglovann again with this save & load method, and none of the buildings properly initiated upgrading. How is the information stored to save file? I doubt it has anything to do with this, but for me the game is installed on an external drive. I wonder if that might interrupt anything.

同样建筑无法升级,完成战斗和读档之后都会自动取消,钱也消耗了

删除了游戏重新安装也无法解决
Playing on NVME disk, saves missing/not loading building progress appears all the time.
