How do I find the Invisible man.

I can't for the life of me find the Invisible man. I went to the right shaft, I looked around, I been up and down, I listen for foot steps-- Nothing, and I've the frost spell a million times-- again nothing. I tried everything. What am I doing wrong? Is their a secret I don't know when it comes to this guy? or is it a bug? any help would be nice?

I found out that he is in another "grey-brown cave". In my case he was not in the cave before the lava world, but directly after it. And I found him only by accident because I heard his footsteps. Then I killed him with the lightning spell I think.
To surely find him you can search every "grey-brown cave" in the game... which is a hell of a job. :-/

Same for me, he was not where most people find him but it was however a dirt floor cave. I walked little bits and stopped after a few steps to see if i could here footsteps. At some point i did and i spammed my frost spell ability and got it.

The "Radar" ability helps alot. As soon as you start hearing the footsteps, use it, and you will get a yellow dot on the minimap. Then the area damage spells worked... once even one-shoted him with the curse.
