Keyboard and mouse disconnect during lightning storm
During the lightning storm event, my computer's keyboard and mouse appear to disconnect. They both become nonresponsive, and the numlock light on my keyboard turns off. Then they come back online in about 2 seconds. Then it repeats, and repeats, and repeats until the lightning storm is over.

I realize this is very weird, but any ideas what could be causing it? I have no issues with any other games.

Well that's very weird for sure... You are the first player to report this.
I don't see anything special about this event that could cause such an issue.

Could you give me your computer specs and version of windows?

I disabled vsync, and it seems to have resolved the issue.

Ryzen 3600
Radeon RX 5700 XT
AMD X570

Windows 10 Pro 10.0.19044

In the middle of a crisis, keyboard and mouse inputs are randomly suspended? That sounds like the most awesome and immersive survival simulation ever conceived!

Wow, in-game Electrical Storm also damages real-life keyboard and mouse? That's creepy.
For me it doesn't happen.

i had this happen to me today while playing destiny, it might have to do something with power surge protection? idrk
