How to raise temp of atomic pile?
So I hit an ice nebula, and my reactor apparently got cold. It is no longer supplying power, and things are running low on battery charge.

What is the process for warming the reactor? I.e. what are the proper steps to take when the reactor drops too low in temperature?

1) Turn off (M)ain (G)enerator
2) Remove the (L)arge (P)ower (T)ransfer device.
3) Turn on the MG.

Wait out. Once clear repeat steps except 2 which you reinstall the LPT.

thats probably the way you are supposed to do it, but if you just kill the climate controls when you get the alert it heats up the pod and stays there and you still make a good amount of power. I usually have to turn climate control on for little bit to not overheat.

I tried that once. However I found it ineffective so reverted back to the other procedure?

no luck here with just killing climate controls. i also assumed that lowering the generator would let it suck up the pod heat, but no dice

how do i turn off the main generator? i open up the reactor by dropping it down from the ceiling. do i just hit the start/stop button?

is there a reason that the monitor display is always blank?

I survived ice nebula by leaving only co2 scrubber working, that way even cold reactor can provide enough power.

Hey, just a tought. Could it be that bringing down the atomic pile and leaving it exposed raises temperature? Couse I did that and later forgot and seems like I died of heatstroke

it cuts power production quite a bit but its not draining the batteries and it wont drop below like half output.
