CRT Monitors

Anybody know why monitors often don't show information? They don't seem to be broken... they're just black.

I think that when the atomic pile cant supply enough power to all systems, some CRTs will be shut down

Indeed. They require a certain amount of power to turn on ;)

So is there any way to warm the pile up without taking the proc out?

The pile should heat up by itself to provide proper power. If it's not the case, you have a problem elsewhere. Check your power connectors. If they are damaged they wont let enough power go through them.

This was odd for me, because the CRT monitors for the Generator and Grav where off, but every other monitor was on.

The main gen doesn't have a battery so if power is too low it wont be able to turn the CRT on. The grav gen has a battery but it doesn't last for long. That might explain it ;) !

I'll take a look and see what is on battery if that happens again
