I would like to take a moment to reflect on how cool the opening siege was in KUF 2. If we had tons of battle scenarios like that I would still be playing it and it wouldnt be offline due to being some failed MMO...STOP TAKING KUF and trying to ruin it! There are ZERO games in this genre, make more games like crusaders. Im still playing xbox games because new games are bad.
They probably thought that this was the best way to reuse the kuf2 assets to easily make something that'll sell at the bare minimum expectations. But all they had to do was make KUF2 single player...that's it!!! No need for more story beyond whatever's there, no need to make it make sense, no need to redo anything but a few mp triggers and make it so 1 person can go through all the levels in Single Player. KUF fans would've gladly bought that!
This appears to be a blockchain game which; I consider at this time, to be a major redflag for a scam. I'd stay clear if I were any of you. Sad to see one of my favorite franchises have this happen to it.
We're going to look at the facts as we know them so far
1. It's an NFT game (red flag)
2. It's a Korean MMO
3. Korean MMO's are generally P2W trash that are nothing but grinds (red flag 2)
4. It has little to do with Heroes or Crusaders genre wise
5. The company behind it is a "multiverse" company (red flag 3)
Honestly, the smart thing to do would just be to remake Crusaders and Heroes and merge them into one game. But here we go again with another MMO, made by some company no one knows ♥♥♥♥ all about (but it apparently has people that are well known...which is bubcus), and the only thing we know for sure is that it has NFT's.
KUF2 felt like it could have been something amazing without the MMO aspects. I wish they could could commit to the idea of Crusaders & Heroes, which I felt stood out the most . Circle of Doom was cool with it's dark soul-like approach, but I feel this series should be a blend of action hack & slash and RTS. No NFTs, No MMO, nor a generic mobile auto battler but a unique blend of action & strategy.
Though I doubt the publisher or dev will listen, but they should take the series back to it's roots if they want profit.
They want KUF to do well ever again it's going to need
- SP/Coop
- Script mod support
- RTS
MMO? lmfao, no chance
No RTS? We can just buy Assassins creed if we want to be scammed, no need to rob us of our shoes while already down with this crap.
NFT? Ok, bye felicia. This isn't even a game.
