Terrible Voice Acting

So far the game is good, but I just needed to say that the voice acting is horrible and there have been a couple times where I had almost quit playing because of it. That be said I am still playing the game and we will see if I can make it to the end.

Personally I don’t feel the voice acting is bad. There are lots of games I played with worse voice acting.

Achilles voice doesn't the character at all imo. Voice acting as a whole is terrible. I'd rather turn it off and just read the text. It absolutely does detract from the experience.

My initial impression of the game was bad enough that I refunded it last year I think. However as a souls / ARPG / hack n slash enthusiast I gave it another go a couple of weeks ago after some patches one of which mentioned refinements to movement / combat.

I enjoyed it enough to run through it twice and get all the achievements. Visually its decent and the combat loop is fun. Where it falls down is the voice acting which extends to the combat chirps ("there he is boys" is painful to hear every time lol) and the missions none of which are interesting or change up the game play.

Of course you have to take into consideration the cost. I got it at a 50% discount and its already a cheap game. So high tier voice acting in multiple languages is a big ask. The most important thing ie the combat is decent.

it's not great but it's better than it used to be, i remember that silly Irish accent that Achilles used to have lol !
