How many players is the online co-op?

Got a group I play games with and always wanna see if a game supports at least 3 players.

As GK wrote, it is currently about a maximum of 2. And even there, there are voices reaching us that already 2 Achilles is too much, because enemies no longer have a chance with 1 Achilles, let alone with 2 :)

What happened to campaign coop? I feel like I got cheated into buying the game and it is lacking the advertised feature. Is there going to be campaign coop in the future? The challenges are stupid.
