Pro Clubs AI Defenders Won't Tackle/Pressure

My friends and I have noticed that our AI defenders have really bad movement/positioning and lack of pressure/tackling compared to our opponents AI defenders when playing Pro Clubs. I have watched YouTube videos and read forum posts but I am wondering if there is something we aren't doing and that is why our defenders are constantly beaten by a simple through ball/fake shot whilst we are muscled off the ball by AI that sticks to us like glue no matter what we do. I know some people will be like "lol git gud" but I am genuinely trying to find out why our AI defense is so bad compared to other teams AI defense.

I wish I had a compilation of clips to show to better explain but I feel like there are people out there who have experienced what I am talking about and honestly I can feel it's close to putting us off playing pro clubs altogether.

I know what you mean. The AI defenders on the players team very often refuse to mark their direct opponent. Mostly the left and right back, and the defensive midfielders. Also the other midfielders don't help as often as they should.

So we constantly need to put them in the right position ourselves, and when the opponent AI is passing fast there is a high chance to switch to the wrong player and be too late to fix a marking mistake.

That said...right now my career outcome is more realistic then ever before (earlier Fifa's).
If EA made the AI defenders better, i would win the league and Champion League with a team of 70-75 easy.

I know it's frustrating sometimes. I hit the table with my fist atleast once every night out of frustration. But the level of competition is more fun also. (i play on Legendary by the way)
