Button stuck downwards and it keeps moving down non stop

Im using a new Xbox one controller to play on my PC after a few buttons it automatically keeps scrolling down non stop. I cant even select what i want it just keeps going down and down

I had the same problem, until I unplugged my sim racing pedals. Do you have something similar?

ive completely switched off the pedals and wheel still not working :(

Same problem. The old Xbox controller works fine but the new one does weird stuff.

same problem here. I have too the new Xbox controller, and it have this weird error: after a few buttons, it automatically keeps scrolling down. Anyone have found a solution for this ???

could be your mouse? i have to put mine in the corner of the screen to stop it messing with things

Is is not with the mouse. I =t is because of the new xbox controller, tried the previous generation and works perfectly, even 2 of them at the same time

hey there pals !! I've finally found the SOLUTION !! Who has the new Xbox Series X/S Controllers ( Carbon Black / Robot White ) to solve this problem in FIFA21 must buy the USB cable type C, so connect it in the windows with this cable (not via bluetooth). So the controller will run ok in FIFA21. This error i've just found in this game till now, so with other games i am still using the bluetooth normally. I'll' be happy if this help you guys !!!

the problem still, no fix yet...I played with cable and still

Tried every fix mentioned on steam and youtube but still have the problem of selection constantly flicking down. Anybody know hoe to fix this?

Eventually sorted this issue by unplugging all USB devices other than the controller. A bit like unplugging the washing machine so the fridge will work :)

go to library>right click on fifa>properties>controler>set steam input ON

this fix works on fifa22 as well
