Using a new Xbox Series X/S controller

Hi I just got one of these and FIFA doesn't work with it correctly, it's obvious that it is like it is mapped for a different button layout. It's not just a few buttons swapped it means I can't even use it to customise the mapping or anything. Anyone ran into this issue yet?

I have something different, I connected the controller via bluetooth and it shows 2 controllers for some reason and the game goes crazy by jumping to each tile.

same problem here... series x/s controller goes absolute crazy in the main menu...

I dont have any X/S controller yet, but i do use Xbox One controller. However the only fix i could thing of is by using x360ce to remap your button, i tried using x360ce in fifa 21 using some cheap ps2 controller before, and it works perfectly fine.

Yes this is the issue I'm having its so its impossible to edit or fix within fifa

Why would you use the newest controller on a computer and not the stable Xbox one controllers? just wonder...

Because I bought a new one controller and thought why would I get an Xbox one controller instead of the newest version plus Xbox one controller availability has gone to a low so the prices are more in UK at least than a new series x controller. Problem seems to be solved. I will get the windows adapter.

i am having exactly the same problem here. This worked fine with the xbox adapter ? For now, it's the only game with this error with the new xbox series x controler. I'll try the adapter !

hey there pals !! I've finally found the SOLUTION !! Who has the new Xbox Series X/S Controllers ( Carbon Black / Robot White ) to solve this problem in FIFA21 must buy the USB cable type C, so connect it in the windows with this cable (not via bluetooth). So the controller will run ok in FIFA21. This error i've just found in this game till now, so with other games i am still using the bluetooth normally. I'll' be happy if this help you guys !!!
