Twitch Integration causes game to Freeze, and unable to respond.

Howdy! I am trying to Connect my Twitch to my Cult of the lamb game. The problem is it had worked before. But sometimes when i start the game up and want to use the twitch integration. i authorize my account to it and gives me a success message. But when i get out of the browser tab, the game freezes and doesn't respond.

Forcing me to Quit the game and try again. Has anyone also dealt with this issue? Or is this a "Me" situation?
