Demon Summoning Circle Not Working Correctly

The the demons from the Demon Summoning Circle aren't being affected by follower level. I have a level 19 follower with the spirit heart demon trait and the level has no affect on the hearts given. It also appears to give no hearts if you already have spirit hearts from the "eat a meal once a day" ability.
