BUG: Followers disappeared

After I load the save, all followers disappeared, only have myself.

had the same problem. all of my followers except 2 of them just poofed out of existence when i came back from a crusade

Perhaps they ascended? :p. That’s unfortunate though. I’ve got the tier 3 bug so not the same boat, but same body of water I suppose.

We are aware of that issue already, we will try to solve it as soon as possible!

I find a solution, switch language back to english and re-enter the cult and everyone is back. I'm playing on GOG version though.

I was watching a streamer playing this game, and after the lamb went to other place and went back, the followers became invisible.
How he solved the problem: He changed the language, Traditional Chinese -> English, went to menu and restarted the game, and the followers were back.
It happened too many times.

I would say just hop on a crusade or something and come back
