Yarlen and Jalala severely bugged

I've seen a few posts elsewhere but not here. The new villagers have presented a number of abnormal issues that, as far as I can tell, has soft locked their quest line. Put simply, Yarlen offered 2 "Rescue Jalala" quests resulting in a doppelganger Jalala with it's own host of issues.

It started when I returned from rescuing Jalala. Before I Indoctrinated her, Yarlen approaches with a new quest, it's to save Jalala. I accept the quest for fear that saying no might somehow remove the one I have. So far there are no issues with accepting Jalala 1.

Eventually I come across Jalala again in Silk Cradle. Rescue and invite her in. Didn't seem to get a 2nd Rinor. But I do have a 2nd Jalala who's now a shadow clone of the original. Moving the same, using the same actions, but always some distance away like a mirror image. But I can talk to and interact with it same as I can her.

At one point she gained a quest marker, but it was simply to compliment Lamb's coat. The mirror image continued to have a quest marker, blinking on and off as if struggling, but would not converse when either version is spoken to.

Today she perished from a failed Missionary, whether or not I can get another and try this again is to be seen.
