Title Screen Bug

[Skin Eater]

Trying to play the game, but it gets stuck at title screen saying "press any button" I've tried multiple forms of input including controller. My mouse appears on screen in the games style, but no matter what it will not register. I've reinstalled and verified my files. Is there a known fix?

dang wow, still no fix to this? I just bought the game and I'm having this exact same issue. The only other way I can even play it was switching to my Macbook which Ironically worked and kinda made me mad because I wanted to play it on my PC. Even tried to stream it from my Macbook onto my pc and the stream didn't work. I really want a fix to this but can't find anything on it.

It's one thing having a glitch in the game it's another thing when I buy it and can't even get past the title screen. I was tempted to refund on the spot when I saw the glitch but I'm still looking for an answer on how to make it work.

I figured out how to do it btw after searching a bunch I found that basically. go to your search bar and go to run or just put in this C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Massive Monster\Cult Of The Lamb\saves or if you want to do it in order just put in AppData -> go to the localLow file -> then the Massive Monster file -> cult of the lamb file -> then click on saves and from there you should see either a file that says persistence (0 kb) if not then it should be labeled something JSON or just JSON Source file. I know there is two in there but I just took out the one that says persistence and it fixed it. You can delete it after you've checked if it works but I just took it out basically and the game worked.
