there used to be sound during remote play but now there isn't. i changed the settings but it didn't help/
I have found a possible explanation for this sound problem for the Lamb cult:
Option 1:
Launch Cult of the Lamb
Start playing together on the remote control
Your friend (Client) needs to launch the "Wndows Volume Mixer"
Right-click on the volume icon on the taskbar to find it (Windows 10/11), and AFTER the game streaming is open, you can scroll to the end and turn on the volume. THE SLIDER WILL ONLY BE DISPLAYED DURING REMOTE PLAYBACK.
The application in the Windows Volume Mixer can be named by type: Cult of the Lamb "Streaming" https://freeimghost.net/i/ZTLD3-KgH7g.r1FJm
Option 2 (It may also help you to enable the beta version of Steam):
Please follow the instructions below to participate in the Steam client beta:
With Steam running, click on "Steam" in the upper left, then choose the "Settings" menu.
On the "Interface" tab under "Client Beta Participation" select the dropdown menu
Select the "Steam Beta Update" from the drop down list
You will be prompted to restart Steam, please select the "Restart Now" button
Option 1 is an old problem. We have been ok until the last weeks update. Option 2 does not work.
Sorry this does not work! It was fine 2 weeks ago. We are using discord to stream sound now.
Thank you. Option 2 worked well.
I searched for hours and tried many things, but nothing worked...
