Dissenting Children
I recently unlocked the Sin system and purchased the mating tent, hatchery, and nursery. I've bred 2 baby followers, but both times I have needed to gather supplies on a crusade and the instant I return, the baby has grown up and is at maximum dissent level. The very first interaction I have with the newly grown up babies is them telling me they hate me and that they're leaving, even though I had only been gone for maybe a day or two.

It feels really unbalanced to make players spend days nurturing the children only for them to immediately grow up and leave the cult the second you return from a supply run. Not even brainwashing the cult before leaving prevents it.

What am I doing wrong? Is the ONLY way to have your children grow up into proper followers to avoid going on crusades for the entire time that they're in child state? Why is there no way to have followers or disciples take care of children while you're out? Why do the followers who are instructed to clean the base ignore the giant daily nursery mess?

I think with babies, you can only neglect to nurture them once or twice altogether. I also turn off time passing on crusades so I don't have to worry about it though.

I make sure to only go on a crusade right after the day change. Can just give them headpats and head out.
You need to nurture infants every single day because you lose faith if you don't plus they poop a lot. It's better not to leave on a long crusade when you have babies and if you have everything upgraded it only takes a few days for them to mature

These are what we generally call teenagers.
