which fleece is the best?

feels like all fleeces aren't greattttttt..... looking for one thats best for crusades

It's really down to playstyle and personal preference. I love the golden fleece personally.

On that subject matter, will the goat be able to use other fleeces, because from what's shown by default they have the Disease fleece as their starter.

I don't know enough to answer that 100% correctly. Maybe MASSICE_CM (one of the devs that looks in here) will answer it. Though I think they'll be able to wear different fleeces, though maybe ones more different than you. I also wonder if the goat can make separate demons, or if it'll still be just the three the host picks out.

Depends if you are in early game with only (I think) 6 fleece options, or if you have unlocked the rest of the options. They're not meant to be direct upgrades, but more or less sidegrades to enhance your playstyle. If you're in the early game with only 6 options, then the purple fleece is good so long as you roll when you take damage or you get the poison immunity card. If you're playing later on with all options available, then fleece of the cursed crusade is really strong for some reason (especially if you love curse spam), but the pink fleece is also practically a direct upgrade despite it's meant to be a sidegrade.
