Overwhelmed Parent Trait
Is there any way to get rid of the Overwhelmed Parent trait? One of my followers (who has an immortality necklace) has this trait and no matter how many times I ask them to rest it never goes away. They look permanently tired and won't do any tasks. The kid they had has long since aged and died, but the trait is still there.

No way to remove it, last I checked. :(

Thank you for your feedback! I've passed it to the team, unfortunately there isn't a way to remove it

Can they please add one? The trait is kind of a detriment and is super annoying to deal with.

Seconded. It seems like it should be able to be cured by "reassure this follower / show this follower who's boss" like the coward and jerk traits

Also, this trait persists through resurrections (and being cured of catatonia) which is kind of silly. Like, you've died and been upsettingly resurrected, but somehow you're still stressed about parenting your now-adult child.

To be fair, some parents really don't know when to let go.

Would you take it if the Proud Parent also decayed?

Idk about everyone else, but I would. It doesn't really do anything except make the follower interact with their child more, right? Which isn't useful at all after the kid grows up.

I'd also be happy with spending resources at the healing tent to get rid of the trait, like for "disturbed by mission"

So you REALLY don't seem to be aware that some parents just don't know when you finally say goodbye to their kin and let them leave the nest? There's some seriously nutjobs that genuinely think "I brought you into this world, now you better listen to me" when it comes to how they parent.

I mean yes, this may be true, but it's not really relevant to the problem? Like I don't care if the cute murder cult game provides a realistic parenting experience, I just think the permanent negative trait is annoying and kind of silly.

I agree, It would make sense if a relaxing trip to the healing bay would get rid of that trait. Or if they'll make the trait disappear as soon as their child grows up.
Same problem

OMG who thought this was a good idea?

I agree with the general sentiment of this forum. Why can’t it be cured?! Now I just don’t want to do any of the breeding stuff.

Make it able to be removed. Please and thank you.
Honestly I wouldn't even mind the trait being unhealable still, as long as it went away after the child died. Like fine, you're overwhelmed into the kids adulthood (even though I'm the one who raised them). But you're still overwhelmed after your kid died of old age?
