Ritual of Resurrection

so just done this to my first follower and was great but whats the point of doing this he does not work and sometimes eats one of my followers the only thing i see thats ok is that he keeps the level point u get in the temple / faith but do they die after some time or is it best to kill him so he stops eating others?

This does not always happen after resurrecting. Sometimes followers are cursed or traumatised by resurrection. A healing bay allows them to be cured, but you might not have that yet. Being cursed won't kill them, though I think they still age.

Could kill them, and resurrect again when you have the resources to cure them, although they probably will eat someone again between resurrecting them again and curing them, at least in my experience. Might still be worth it.

As previously mentioned, this doesn't always happen. It's randomly determined when the ritual is performed, so you could save first. (Don't think this works if they died when already cursed though)

That's so weird, I thought it was like 25% chance or less
