hammers on the other hand...
Hammers just need timing, I beat the final boss with a hammer.
People need to stop trying to remove things in games just because THEY don't like them.
The ghosts deal barely any damage and zealous is useless endgame
Hammers are broken OP.
I think a better way to improve the system would be some rule like : "When you pick up a weapon, the next weapon spawn will be for a different type." It would be almost seemless and prevent people staying stuck with a weapon they really hate to play with.
Then again, every weapon is decent in hard (didn't touch very hard yet) and that's hardly a priority, judging by current state of the game.
Hammer is overkill most of the time. You can one-shot most enemies with the axe too if you get the yellow robe, but without having such a long wind-up. Also has better range.
