Is there a way to remove or replace gifts/necklaces?

So I have a follower who has the movement speed necklace on right now since at the time I got them I didnt have the up all night one as it was on an elderly follower, now I do have it so is there any way to put it on this other follower?
The follower I want to put it on is the one who waits who has the immortality perk, which is why I cant just get a different follower to wear it

I don't believe so. It would also be an easy way to cheese the game. Put a long life totem on someone then take it off right before they are ready to die and gift it to someone else. They are gifts after all. You don't take back a given gift.

Not really since if they die of old age you can loot their body for the charm, in fact old age is one of the only ways to loot a charm back i've found, since saccing/ascending doesnt give you the charm back

I'd honestly be happy to lose the original gift, but I guess this means my follower is gonna be useless 50% of the time then

Good news I found a solution I wasnt sure itd work since as I said its the one who waits but it turns out you can just feed them the deadly dish to kill em, then carve up the body and resurrect them to get the necklace off them!
Kind of roundabout and nightmarish to think about, but hey it works!

Sadly I didn't pick the murder option since ascend seemed the better pick
