Will there be a sale?: This looks like such a great game but $24.99 is a bit steep. I know it;'s a new release, but have they talked about doing a sale at any point in the future?

It just came out. I have seen no talk of it but perhaps 6 months to a year and there could be one, maybe. I'm not sure of the wait time between new releases and sales but I don't think it'll be soon. It's still in top sellers at current price afaik.

Since it's a small game where you can finish it in 2-4 days. I bet it will be on sale on christmas when most people already finished it.

The real question is : Have you ever seen one game that never been on sale at some point ?
Question bonus : do you really think they gonna answer a precise date so everybody would wait at this point to let them make less money ?

I think the price fits the game through. I have gotten my hours out of it. Plus, I do believe the Devs do plan on having free updates.

The game is not four hours long, I found it very well worth the price, so much that I'd prefer it over tons of Triple-A titles which cost 3x.

Just hold out a bit, maybe during christmas.

Yeah Baldur's Gate 3 is pretty much recent (and in early access), and Factorio is still in active updates (after a very long early access duration) and... both are still on the market.
Remember the meaning of "never".
Besides, that's all up to the ppublishers/developpers, and sales are never a mandatory.
Personnaly, over 30 years and more than 2000 games, I never saw one staying at the same price "forever" during its whole market life.

And sometimes sales are even pretty much incoherent : recently Mass Effect Legendary went on sale on Steam... but not on Origin (EA platform, EA publisher of Mass Effect)

How about all Nintendo games? Nintendo putting ANYTHING on sale would have to be a SPECIFIC OCCASION otherwise you will always be paying full price for ♥♥♥♥ that's ten, twenty, forty years old.
